1. Read the “menu”

After browsing through our Site and Trip Details, select the trip that best suits your fishing interests, travel dates, budget, etc. 

2. Give us a call, or better still, email us.

Our consultants endeavor to prepare you with realistic expectations of travel logistics, lodging and fishing results. Call or e-mail us to request available dates, and to get answers to any additional questions you might have. Our travel consultation service is free.

3. Reserve your spot

A deposit is required to hold space on any trips, and space is generally sold on a first-come basis. We can accept checks or major credit cards for your deposit however, the best way is to use the Pay Pal Link below. You should also complete a Trip Reservation Form. (Be sure to read our General Terms and Conditions statement.) Please note that trip cancellation penalties may be applied should you have to cancel your travel plans. Trip cancellation insurance is advised.
 

4. Study up

On receipt of your reservation deposit, we'll start making arrangement to confirm your reservations. We will mail you a package with pre-departure information, packing suggestions, travel insurance forms, as well as general information on visas, health precautions, etc. Review this information very carefully. You can also visit our online store to find a variety of tackle and travel gear suited to your trip.
 

5. Start packing!

Trip documents are typically sent 2-3 weeks prior to departure, after we've received your final payment. This package will include an updated itinerary and other last-minute information, airline tickets, luggage tags, etc. You should review this information very carefully.
  

6. Go!

You’re on the way to fishing adventure. In the event of travel delays or other emergency, phone contact numbers are provided on your final itinerary. Now get going, and have a great trip!
 

7. Travel philosophy

We consider ourselves privileged to have access to some of the world’s finest fishing destinations. We encourage catch-and-release angling to conserve these spots for future generations. And we endeavor to respect the people and places we visit. Fly Fish Florida values you as a lifelong fishing friend, and we welcome your feedback and your referrals. And, of course, next time you’re looking for angling adventure, we invite you to…repeat step 1.

We do not book flights for you. You will have to arrange flights via various carriers. You would need to Fly into Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach or Miami for South Florida, or Orlando, Tampa or Sanford for Mid Florida pick ups. The preferred locations are Fort Lauderdale or Orlando. We find that Continental from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Gatwick, Bristol and Shannon offer good flight departures changing in Newark to Fort Lauderdale. Direct Flights to Miami and Orlando are available on Virgin.

GUIDES

Most guides charge $500 a day or $325 / Half Day for their services. This is usually per 2 anglers in one boat. Special requests and other requirements may involve further charges. Please enquire for confirmation.

Some Guides offer Beach and Canal Fishing, as well a Kayak Fishing Trips. We are more than happy to cater to your requirements and budget.

Fishing times and locations may vary throughout the year, for example, some periods may offer excellent night fishing for tarpon, but only at night.
